Less repetitive work. More consistent care. Professional oversight throughout.
Garden technology is useful only when it solves a real problem and continues to work with the changing needs of the garden. A robotic mower can cut frequently, and an irrigation system can deliver water automatically, but neither can understand the whole garden or take responsibility for the result.
Project Garden combines appropriate technology with assessment, human observation and ongoing care. We manage the garden outcome; the technology performs suitable routine tasks.
Two Managed Services
Managed Lawn Care
Routine robotic mowing supported by Project Garden monitoring, edge care and appropriate seasonal lawn care.
Intelligent Water Management
Targeted watering designed around different parts of the garden, with seasonal adjustment and ongoing observation.
Managed Lawn Care
A managed lawn—not just a robot
A robotic mower can perform frequent routine cutting. Project Garden remains responsible for observing the lawn, managing edges and inaccessible areas, recognising developing problems and recommending seasonal intervention when needed.
Before recommending robotic mowing, we assess whether the lawn and property are genuinely suitable and what preparation may be required.
The Robot-Ready Survey
Where robotic mowing appears appropriate, we carry out a paid Robot-Ready Survey before equipment or ongoing care is quoted. This considers the lawn, access, boundaries, slopes, obstacles, connectivity and the standard of finish required.
Intelligent Water Management
Give every part of the garden the water it needs—without unnecessary waste
Hotter summers, longer dry periods, intense rainfall and differing plant needs mean that simply turning on a sprinkler is rarely the best answer. Water should be directed to the right place, in the right quantity and at an appropriate time.
Project Garden can assess how water moves through the garden and create a managed system designed around the lawn, borders, containers, hedges and planting zones that need it.
Smart Water Management May Include
- Targeted watering for different garden areas
- Automated and zoned watering where useful
- Rainwater collection and reuse
- Seasonal monitoring and adjustment
A Managed System—not Just an Irrigation Kit
Project Garden does not begin with a box of components. We assess the garden, design the watering approach, install and commission an appropriate system, explain how it works and provide continuing care where required.
We choose appropriate, serviceable technology.
The Smart Water Assessment
Where managed watering appears appropriate, we carry out a paid Smart Water Assessment before a system or ongoing care is quoted. This considers the garden layout, soil and drainage, planting needs, existing water provision, opportunities for rainwater use and the appropriate level of automation.
The assessment provides the basis for a practical design and tailored quotation. It prevents unnecessary equipment being installed and helps identify where changes to soil, mulch, planting or shade may be more valuable than automation.
Ongoing Water Care
Automated watering still needs observation and seasonal adjustment. Project Garden can monitor performance, check the system and adapt watering as the garden and weather change.
Climate-Ready and Smart Garden Care Work Together
Technology should not compensate for unsuitable planting or unhealthy soil. Where water is under pressure, we may first recommend mulching, improving soil, grouping plants by water needs, creating shade, collecting rainwater or replacing repeatedly failing plants. Intelligent irrigation then supports a more resilient garden rather than disguising an underlying problem.
How Project Garden Manages Technology
- Understand the garden and desired outcome
- Decide whether technology genuinely helps
- Coordinate an appropriate, serviceable solution
- Monitor performance and adjust as conditions change
Approved Equipment and Specialist Support
Project Garden manages the garden; specialist dealers can remain responsible for equipment supply, finance, warranty and specialist servicing.
Start with an Introductory Visit
We will begin with the way you use and experience the garden, then identify whether managed mowing, intelligent watering or another practical improvement offers genuine value. If a technical solution appears suitable, we will explain the appropriate paid survey before equipment, installation or ongoing care is quoted.
